CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY | What to Expect

What happens during a Targeted Clinical Hypnotherapy session?

 Each session is approximately one hour and is structured around your specific goal. Here's what to expect:

1. Intake conversation. We begin with a relaxed conversation about what you'd like to address, what you've already tried, and what outcome you're hoping for. This is also where we discuss any questions or concerns you may have about the process. There is no pressure, no judgment — just clarity about where you are and where you'd like to go.

2. Customized session design. Based on our conversation, I tailor the hypnotherapy session to your specific goal. No two sessions are alike, because no two clients are alike.

3. Induction and deepening. Through guided relaxation and focused attention, we gently move your awareness inward. You remain fully aware throughout — hypnosis is not sleep, and you are always in control. Most clients describe the state as deeply restful, similar to that drowsy moment between waking and sleep.

4. Therapeutic work. Once you're in a receptive state, we engage directly with the subconscious mind — the layer where patterns, beliefs, and emotional responses are stored. Using techniques tailored to your goal, we work to soften old patterns, install new responses, or reframe long-held beliefs.

5. Gentle return. I guide you back to full waking awareness feeling refreshed, clear, and grounded. We close with a brief conversation about your experience and any insights that arose.

You'll leave the session with a sense of calm and renewed focus. Most clients begin noticing shifts within the first few days, with continued integration unfolding over the following weeks.
